This edition of Danceletter Picks comes to you from the makeshift desk I’ve set up as close as possible to the air conditioner that’s not quite big enough to cool the whole apartment. I took last week off to visit family and friends in Western Mass, and I’m still readjusting to the very particular NYC heat (that subway-platform swelter…there’s nothing like it). Evenings don’t offer much of a reprieve, but I’ve included a couple of outdoor events below for those who don’t mind a steamy dance-going experience. Hope you all are staying cool and finding ways to rest and replenish this summer.
